Tomato soup with green lentils and noodles

Total Time: 45 - 55 minutes
Prep. Time: 15 - 20 minutes
Cook. Time: 45 - 55 minutes

For 4 persons we will need:
200 grams of green boiled lentils, 1 onion, 4 large tomatoes, 100 grams of thin noodles, 2 table-spoons of butter, 1 dessert spoon of dry oregano, salt and black pepper (as much as you like)



   * To get 200 gr. (1 glass) of boiled lentils you should clean from a trash and wash a little less then half a glass 
of lentils. Pour a glass of water on the lentils in the saucepan, add half of teaspoon of olive oil and leave to cook on the low fire from 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occasionally 


Preparation:
While the lentils is boiling you can make a preparation of ingredients  for the soup.

Peel the tomatoes. To do this you can make a plus by knife at the top of the tomatoes as shown in the photo




Place in a deep pan and pour boiling water





Then drain and peel them





Remove the seeds and cut into small cubes




Peel the onion and chop finely (you can use a blender)





In a deep saucepan melt the butter, add the tomatoes, onion, oregano and black pepper and cook for 5-7 minutes





Put boiled water just above the half of saucepan, add the lentils, boil and add the noodles. Cook 5-7 minutes until noodles are cooked.
